The agricultural machinery exhibition has for decades now been a main attraction for many visitors of the International Agricultural Fair. The browse, inform themselves, exchange experiences and often decide to use the Fair’s discounts and acquire valuable agricultural machinery for their farms.
At the 92nd International Agricultural Fair, traditionally, a wide range of agricultural machinery is offered by 17 members of the Business Association of Exporters and Importers of Agricultural Machinery, along with many other companies seeking to find their share of the market.
The title of the most expensive machine at this year’s fair belongs to a potato harvester Varitron 470 from the German company Grimme, displayed at the ITN Group DOO stand. The price is 770.000 euros, VAT not included, and it has been acquired by a potato cultivating company that has 1000 hectares of land and is a supplier for major potato chip producers.
The International Agricultural Fair offers a chance for visitors to explore new technologies and models of agricultural machinery. KITE DOO company from Novi Sad is the official dealer for John Deer, and is showcasing the new 6M tractor series, with horsepower ranging from 95 to 250. The M series is the best-selling John Deer tractor model in Serbia and new models 6M 250, 6M 220 and 6M 140 are on display at this year’s Fair.
Novelties of all the major international manufacturers of agricultural machinery at the 92nd International Agricultural Fair are showcased by many other exhibitors and feature powered and implement machinery, irrigation equipment, drones and other latest technical solutions that make the agriculture industry innovative.
Not everything has to be expensive
Dominating the lower end of the price spectrum, are brands from the People’s Republic of China. Tractor Hanwo HWE 254 premiered at this year’s Fair at the Poljoservis Kljakić company booth. It is priced at 10.038 euros, VAT included, and it is meant for fruit cultivators. Somewhat more expensive is the FM World 45HP Chinese tractor, priced at 10.800 euros, VAT included, displayed at the Agronova booth, a company from Novi Sad. According to the company, this model can very well replace some of the most popular Yugoslav tractors used in crop production. Another tractor model of the lower price range is the YTO ESK 304, also a Chinese brand, displayed at the Agrovojvodina – Mehanizacija DOO booth and it is priced at 11.340 euros, VAT included, meant for fruit production.
