SEE ENERGY 2025

The Regional Energy Conference with a B2B platform and networking zone See Energy 2025 - Connect &Supply is being held in the Congress Center "Master" of the Novi Sad fair today, October 28 and tomorrow, October 29.

The event is dedicated to the energy transition of the region, and gathered more than 350 participants from the industry, energy sector, financial institutions and international organizations.

It was officially opened by the Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, Nenad Ivanišević. - There are two important reasons why we support this conference. The first is certainly the tourist part because during this conference you have no available tourist accommodation for accommodation in Novi Sad, which increases the number of overnight stays in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. Another important reason is certainly to discuss this very important economic branch. "Energy is the most current topic in the world today, in Serbia as well and our idea is to talk to the participants at this conference to see what the trends are in what is perhaps the fastest growing economic branch and to offer them a kind of dialogue," said Ivanišević. - I will remind you that we are the only institution in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, and perhaps in the entire Balkans, that offered the possibility to give buyers of electric cars up to 25,000 euros, which is a unique measure in the territory of the entire region. At the same time, through our competitions in the field of tourism, we offered the possibility of buying chargers for electric cars to tourist facilities, which everyone should contribute to the development of awareness of the use of electric cars, but not only that, but also the use of renewable energy sources in order to have money to invest in other areas of the economy, Ivanišević added.

The program of the See Energy conference includes panel discussions, workshops, B2B meetings and an exhibition section on the topics of energy efficiency, renewable sources, decarbonization and digitization of energy.

During two days, the financing of energy efficiency will be discussed: esco models, subsidies and EU funds, the path to decarbonization of industry and district heating, biomethane - potential, technologies and market. Topics include decarbonization as an imperative, industry in transition, battery energy storage - application in industry and return on investment, security of supply.

On the last, sixth module, the panelists will try to answer the questions - How to make smaller solar and hybrid plants work more profitably, safely and reliably? Among other things, it will also discuss the optimal deployment of the plant, compliance with network requirements, cyber security — everything that directly affects performance, availability and delivery of energy.
