24.9.2012.
The autumn term of fairs at the Novi Sad Fair starts on Tuesday, 25th September with the Opening Ceremony of the 45th International Fairs of Hunting, Fishing and Sport - LORIST. At the same time we are organising the Fair of Forestry, “Eco World” and the Fair of Horticulture.
Two days later, on Thursday, 27th September, we are opening the 45th International Fair of Tourism and the 3rd International Fair of Horse-breeding “HorseVille", which lasts a day longer this year. The first autumn events host more than 400 exhibitors and participants from 15 countries - Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, the Republic of Srpska, Macedonia, India, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Ireland, Romania and Turkey.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Novi Sad Fair, Mr Goran Vasić said at the press conference today that the coming LORIST would be marked by the 45th anniversary of this event, 10th anniversary of "Vojvodinašume" public company and the 90th anniversary of the Hunting Association of Vojvodina.
- The segment of hunting is going to be marked by the signing of the contract between "Vojvodinašume" Public Company and the Hunting-tourist Organisation from Denmark which represents the basis of their organising the visits of hunters from Scandinavia and Benelux to the hunting grounds of the province, said Mr Vasić.
The CEO of the Novi Sad Fair announced that the Partner Region of this year’s Fair of Tourism, beginning on 27th September, would be Dežela Celjska from Slovenia, which had great results in the segments of spa tourism and attracting EU pre-accession funds. Mr Vasić said that the second Fair of Forestry would specially feature the quests from the German province of Baden-Württemberg, presenting their experiences in managing biomasses, which only proved that this fair was becoming more and more educational.
Mr Vasić also said that this year’s "Gym Fest" was organised in cooperation with the City of Novi Sad, that the Fair of Horticulture would have extra qualities because of the exhibitors from India presenting their materials made of bamboo.
- "HorseVille" is a day longer this year, features 80 exhibitors and presents more than 130 top class horses. Four international equestrian tournaments will mark this fair, namely in show jumping, driving, dressage and harness races in the discipline of "street race", as well as the FEI Regional Dressage Forum with the participation of foreign lecturers and a scientific meeting on the topic of “Breeding, Reporduction and Healthcare of Horses", said Mr Vasić.
A single admission to the fairs of LORIST, Tourism and "Horseville" is RSD 300 and the gates of the Fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
