Bulgaria – strategic partner of Fair of Tourism

The tourist offer of Bulgaria will be presented at the Novi Sad Fair within the scope of the 43rd International Fair of Tourism, held between 28th September and 1st October.
A protocol on cooperation was signed at the opening ceremony of the second congress of the Euro-Mediterranean Restaurateurs’ Federation, held at Zlatibor until 16th June by a member of the Executive Board of the Novi Sad Fair, Bojan Gajić, PhD, and, on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism of Bulgaria, a representative of the Bulgarian Embassy in Belgrade, Vasil Dimitrov.
It has been announced that over 100 Bulgarian hotels, tourist centres and agencies will present their tourist offer at the Novi Sad Fair, accompanied by presentations of the cultural-historic tradition and gastronomic offer.
On the occasion of the protocol signing, member of the Executive Board of the Novi Sad Fair, Bojan Gajić, PhD, stated that the presentation of the Bulgarian tourist offer would be an excellent opportunity for visitors to learn more about the offer of both winter and summer resorts, that were already quite popular in Serbia.
- The protocol on cooperation is a new chapter in the relations between our two countries, and we will do our best to present the potentials of Bulgaria in a way that would attract even more tourists in the future, said the representative of the Bulgarian Embassy in Belgrade, Vasil Dimitrov.
The state secretary in the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Goran Petković, said that the regional cooperation was one of Serbia’s priorities and that the protocol would greatly contribute to the flow of tourists and businesspeople between the two countries.
The congress of the Euro-Mediterranean Restaurateurs’ Federation featured representatives of 14 Balkan and Mediterranean counties and was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development of Serbia, and organised y the Association of Hotel and Catering Industry of Serbia –HORES and the Balkan Association of Hotelkeepers.
