Car Show: Around 240 cars sold

16.10.2011.
"Car Show - Novi Sad", which finishes today at the Novi Sad Fair, has featured presentations of models manufactured by around 100 companies in the field of automotive industry and the visitors have had an opportunity to see premieres of 31 models.

The number of visitors equalled the one from last year, but around 240 vehicles have been sold, which is an increase of 20 percent in comparison with last year’s event, thus showing that the Car Show has a great potential for representatives and dealers of the most renowned international car manufacturers. Naturally, true business results are expected in the days to come, after the Show is over, when negotiated deals need to be realised. It is interesting to note that while more exclusive models saw excellent sales results, the sales of reasonably priced cars experienced a slight decrease.

The financial companies taking part in the 11th "Car Show - Novi Sad" agree that most buyers opted for financial leasing arrangements, for cars under EUR 12,000 or the most expensive ones. Almost all leasing companies operating in Serbia participated in the Show.

During the Show, the main sponsor "Dunav osiguranje" prepared a number of incentives for the visitors, such as a 10-percent discount for full insurance, including expenses incurring from replacing the registration sticker of up to RSD 3,000 throughout the insured period. The offer presented at the Car Show is valid until 1st November at all sales points of "Dunаv osigurаnje".

The Car Show was also marked by the Children’s Olympic Games, a competition in the knowledge of traffic regulations, held on Friday, 14th October, featuring around 400 children aged 6-11 from local self-governments in Serbia. The “Children’s Olympic Games” were a part of the project “National Campaign for Safety of Children in Traffic”, organised for the first time this year.

Next events at the Novi Sad Fair are the 6th International Fair of Investments and the Days of Power Supply, held between 25th and 27th October.
